According to ScrapeHero.com, ConocoPhillips, Conoco, and HF Sinclair own the largest number of gas stations in Colorado with nearly 1000 locations. Companies like Phillips 66 and Shell round out the state's top five.

Financebuzz.com says Shell Global is likely to cut first in Texas where its offices are located, along with more than 1600 stores. Reports say the company plans to start the closure of 1000 gas stations in states like Texas, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota first.
