Shawn Mendes Opens Up To Sold Out Red Rocks Crowd

Just over 2 years after canceling his last Colorado tour date, Shawn Mendes is back on the road.

Lucky for Shawn's Colorado fans, the legendary Red Rocks was a part of his extremely special limited 7-city tour to promote his new album, "Shawn."

Shawn hitting getting back on stage in front of thousands of people was a pretty big deal because he had previously canceled his entire "Wonder World Tour" back in 2022.

COVID-19 affected many folks differently, and in his case, he wasn't quite ready for the stress caused by touring after the pandemic.

As he gets ready to release his new album "Shawn" on November 15th, he took the opportunity to get back on stage in front of his amazing fanbase.

One of those limited "Friends and Family Tour "stops was at Red Rocks, and he clearly felt at home back on that huge stage because he had a heart-to-heart with those in attendance.

While on stage at Red Rocks, Shawn took the time to open up about something that people can't seem to stop asking him about... His sexuality.

There’s this thing about my sexuality, and people have been talking about it for so long. I think it's kind of silly, because I think sexuality is such a beautifully complex thing, and it’s so hard to just put into boxes.

See the full speech in the video below...

Regardless of Shawn's personal life decisions, which he discusses in the video above, we adore him and his music.

We're so thankful he felt safe enough to "be brave" and speak from his heart in front of this sold-out Colorado crowd.

We cannot wait for the new album!
